What does silence mean to you?

Not just alone, but with others.

That may be really broad, but think about it. And maybe tell me how you view silence especially when it comes to hanging out with a group of friends, or a group of people you don't know too well. Maybe I'll share my own thoughts soon. This is an experiment.
